Danger May corrode metals. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. If swallowed: Rinse mouth. DO NOT attempt to void. IF IN CONTACT WITH SKIN (or hair): Immediately remove all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. IN CASE OF CONTACT WITH EYES: Rinse carefully with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if fitted and easy to do so. Continue rinsing. |
| Application
|
1. Add 10 ml of the water sample to be analysed.
2. Add 3 drops of Tolidine Separator and stir with the lid closed. Wait for 2 minutes.
3. Determine the amount of free chlorine in the water by comparing the colour in the container with the chlorine colour scale. |
| Theoretical Results |
The amount of free chlorine is measured by comparing the change in the colour of the water sample with the chlorine colour scale.
