Purpose |
GBL® ROSA-STRIP GA is a chemical indicator for use in determining the glutaraldehyde. It is recommended that the disinfectant be tested before each disinfection cycle to ensure the glutaraldehyde. |

Do not read the results after 60 seconds. Close the bottle caps of the test strips immediately after use. Once the bottle of test strips has been opened, use all test strips within 90 days. Discard unused test strips within 90 days. Store the tightly closed bottle of test strips at 15-30 °C and out of direct sunlight. |
Application
|
1. Open the vial of GBL® ROSA-STRIP GA Test Strips and remove the test strip. Close the vial.
2. Fully immerse the indicator pad of the strip in glutaraldehyde solution. Remove after 2 seconds.
3. Do not mix the glutaraldehyde solution with the strip. Do not shake the test strip to dry it. Dry the test strip only by placing it on a paper towel.
4. Compare the test strip reaction zone color to the color scale on the test strip vial at 60 seconds. |
Theoretical Results |
PASS: The color of the indicator pad is mostly purple.
FAILED: The color of the indicator pad is distinctly blotches pale purple.
